Protecting Our Environment

Martin lives in New Mexico because he loves blue skies, wide open spaces, and wild country. If you are a hiker, hunter, camper, or fisherman, you love our wide-open spaces and public lands. He has worked to defend these places for future generations. He played a critical role in the designation of the Ojito Wilderness, directly protected two new Open Space properties in the Sandia Mountains, and helped protect the Valle Vidal from the Bush Administration. You can count on Martin to continue the fight to protect our Land of Enchantment.
