Thank you very much for your help collecting nomination signatures for Martin Heinrich! We are quickly approaching the deadline to submit signatures to the Secretary of State so please talk to your friends, neighbors and co-workers and return the completed forms to our office as soon as possible.

Petition Instructions: Blanks at top of form are to be filled in black ink with name and address of candidate, office being sought and party affiliation. The only valid signatures are those of Democrats registered to vote in New Mexico. If a person signs more than one petition to nominate a person as the Democratic candidate, the signature will not count.
● Signature in the first column.
● Legibly printed name as registered to vote in second column.
● Legibly printed address where registered to vote in third column.
● City and zip code of voter registration in the final column.
It’s best to ask first if the person is a Democrat registered to vote in New Mexico. Also, make you sure you can easily read the printed name.
Common Mistakes/Problems
● Name is printed in first column, signed in second column.
● Nickname or name commonly used rather than name as registered is used. For example, Javy instead of Javier; or Liz instead of Teresa E.; or a name reflecting current marital status rather than the one on voter registration. Smith instead of Jones.
● NO PO BOXES!!! Only Current Physical Address where the signer is registered to vote. Confirm with the signer that the name and address are the ones which match their voter registration.
