Journal Endorses Heinrich, White in CD1 Primaries

Just like they did in the GOP Senate race, the Albuquerque Journal released their endorsements for the First Congressional District primaries.

Unlike the Senate race, both Democrats and Republicans have multiple candidates in the field in the First Congressional District race. And the Journal editorial page showed who they would be backing.

The Journal endorsed Martin Heinrich for the Democratic nomination. Heinrich is the frontrunner in the Democratic race ahead of former state Health Secretary, former NM Secretary of State Rebecca Vigil-Giron and attorney Robert Pidcock.
