Heinrich Doubles Domenici’s Fundraising Haul As Multimillionaire Former Hedge Fund Executive’s Campaign Stalls

Heinrich holds commanding lead in polling, fundraising and public support

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Senator Martin Heinrich’s campaign outraised Nella Domenici in the latest round of fundraising by a two-to-one margin, FEC reports filed today show. Earlier this month, Heinrich’s campaign announced it had raised $2.3 million in the final quarter before Election Day. Today Domenici reported raising $1.15 million.

Coming off a winning debate performance last night and consistently holding a commanding lead in the polls, Heinrich continues to build a broad coalition of support across New Mexico. Heinrich has clearly articulated his record of results to voters while presenting a positive vision for the future of New Mexico. Meanwhile, Domenici continues to avoid answering questions about her stance on abortion rights, has failed to offer voters any compelling reason to vote for her, and finally admitted during the debate that she supports former President and convicted felon Donald Trump and his extreme, dangerous Project 2025 agenda.

“These numbers speak for themselves: New Mexicans trust Senator Heinrich because he delivers real results for working families,” said Brad Elkins, Heinrich for Senate campaign manager. “Meanwhile, Nella’s campaign is stalling. She can’t connect with voters because she’s more focused on dodging questions and backing Trump’s dangerous agenda than actually offering a plan for New Mexico.”

Early this year, Nella Domenici’s campaign manager Noah Jennings was quoted saying, “In a full quarter, Nella would have beat the brakes off Martin Heinrich.” Unfortunately, like the rest of Domenici’s campaign, Jennings’ bravado lacked the substance to back it up.
